    Somatic Womb Yoga Therapy

Do you long to be restored to a sense of flow and self-trust?

Maybe you have been through experiences of pain and loss, and feel their imprints in your body and relationships.

Do you long for a different kind of relationship with your body and self?

It often feels hard to imagine a way out of chronic pain, fatigue, shame and low mood, yet some part of you knows you’re not meant to feel like this forever.

Your body process is prioritised as we attune to and collaborate on meeting your needs, letting your body tell its stories and expand its range of safety and expression. We work with a powerful combination of movement, touch, breath, and somatic dialogue.

    Womb & Pelvic Bodywork

Deeply nourishing person-centred bodywork to aid the harmony of your reproductive, menstrual and digestive health. The pelvis is your somatic centre and gentle, precise massage (external only) can lead you home to yourself, your power and pleasure.

You may be experiencing chronic ill-health, exhaustion or symptoms around menstruation, or want to support your self-connection through your fertility journey or postnatally (no matter when you gave birth).

This is for women and people experiencing symptoms, and/or feeling the call towards a deeper relationship with self. You might have a sense that something needs your attention. You may have an awareness that your healing requires moving into the somatic channels, and being heard and met with presence and touch.

    Holistic Massage

Time to drop out of the head and into the body. To slow down. To receive. To connect with yourself.

Each session is a collaboration, tailored to you in line with your needs, preferences and intention. With skill and attunement, I respond to your body using a ‘listening’ touch. Techniques may include deep tissue massage, fascial release, acupressure, holds, rocking and mobilisation.

This is massage that is sensitive, intuitive and responsive.

It’s a pleasure to work with clients over time. Holistic massage works best when it’s part of regular self-care. This allows us to build a therapeutic relationship and for your body to become accustomed to receiving.

    Pregnancy & Postnatal

Time for you to connect with yourself and your baby. For most people, massage is safe and welcome all the way through pregnancy from the first weeks where you may feel extremely tired, to right before labour when bodywork can offer great relief.

I hope the therapy room is a haven where you can experience safety, holding and relaxation.

Massage postnatally is especially important, nurturing you as a ‘new’ mother and restoring balance to your body that has gone through the greatest of transitions. The hormonal changes of pregnancy and postpartum increase our need for oxytocin so bodywork truly is a physiological need of this life transition.

Mothers at all stages deserve nourishing touch and care.

What people are saying:

“Elizabeth is magic! I struggle with endometriosis and fibroids, which means I am in extreme pain or discomfort for at least half of every month. It impacts my mood and energy levels. Since having regular massages with Elizabeth, who listens to how my symptoms have impacted me, and focuses on problem areas- my pain has been significantly better!

She has also helped me understand my body better, and the womb massage not only relieves my pain, but also releases endorphins which leave me feeling happy and energized. This is inexplicably impactful, since no medication or treatment has helped me this way!”
