Sacred Embodiment:

Womb Somatic Bodywork & Yoga Therapy

At the end of my suffering/ There was a door - Louise Gluck

Do you long to be restored to a sense of flow and self-trust?

Maybe you have been through experiences of pain and loss, and feel their imprints in your body and relationships.

Do you long for a different kind of relationship with your body and self?

It often feels hard to imagine a way out of chronic pain, fatigue, shame, resentments and low mood, yet some part of you knows you’re not meant to feel like this forever.

Working with the body gets to the root of things in a way that talking therapy may not touch.

In the container of the therapeutic relationship, your protective strategies will rise up to be witnessed and responded to in new ways. Over time, this process repatterns your nervous system, unravelling couplings that were once essential for your survival, but are no longer serving in your adult life.

In tune with your process, I will support you with words, touch, suggestions, observations and coregulating presence. With the use of nurturing touch, or supports like bolsters, blankets and weights, your body feels directly that you are not alone, and that you are supported. I support your expression so you can be witnessed in your truth, and pain is turned to art through creativity and imagination.

The process is deepened and made more effective by awareness and attunement to your body’s changing needs depending on where you are in your menstrual cycle and life cycle. Discussion and education about your hormonal cycle and nervous system can relieve shame and help you weave a kinder relationship with yourself.

This work blends modalities in the way that the Feminine does - using skill and discernment while remaining open to the unknown, the transpersonal and the new. Process-oriented somatic therapy is highly effective at taking you into and through experiences that the mind cannot even imagine.

As I support you through this process at the measure of your pace, safety and capacity, your natural healing and transformation process can unfold. I support you to bring patience, curiosity and reverence towards yourself and your experience because this kind of change takes time and also requires being resourced in your life.

We prioritise establishing safety and always allow ample time for integration so that you can digest and absorb your experiences. With commitment and patience, you will experience shifts in your identity, embodiment and capacity.

Your body is sacred

Your body is nature

Nothing is outside of Love

Your sensuality is your own to claim

I celebrate the fullness of your expression

I honour the intelligence of your body

I have faith in your aliveness and

The wellspring of your power
