As we begin our descent into the darkness of winter, it is a ripe moment to turn inward and discover the light within ourselves. Darkness is the way of the cave and the well, of places where women have always gathered in devotion and ritual.

In these morning retreats, we will sense into our bones and explore containment within, developing greater internal safety and holding. We orient ourselves to the Earth, matter and elements that hold us and reflect our vastness back to us.

When the female body is nourished with rest, rhythm and connection, your wellspring of yin begins to fill and flow. We will explore flowing movements with natural breath, self-touch to elicit oxytocin and connection, and explore mudras and sounding as well as intuitive movement. There will be a seasonal, philosophical or archetypal theme to each retreat morning.

Winter and the womb are places of incubation. This is an invitation to make space and time to listen to yourself and tend to yourself amidst the business of life. Come be held, nurtured and inspired. Let the darkness be a generative space of dreaming and rooting in.

I am hoping these sessions will be deeply nourishing of your vital essence and relationship with yourself. Your embodied imagination will receive encouragement to play and explore - these are the conditions for building trust with yourself and practising listening and responding to your body’s needs, wisdom and intuition.

Intended for cis-women and trans afab people who feel drawn: ‘Female’ physiology and energetics of the pelvis and womb space will be centred in practice and discussion.

For people at all stages of life and ages. I welcome people of different religious, racial and cultural backgrounds and sexual orientation.
